Composer Hayley Jenkins chats to York-based pianist Hilary Suckling about her York Late Music piano recital (Saturday, 2 March, 1pm). Hilary describes the programme as being 'about the night and the stars, exploring ethereal, dreamlike and transcendental textures in British, French and American contemporary music.'
Hilary talks with Hayley about revisiting Thomas Adès’ 1995 work Traced Overhead and exploring pieces by Martin Suckling plus the new piece, Night Echoes, by James Else.
